IS THE CITY OF VANCOUVER'S NEW VEHICLE TAKE-HOME POLICY TOO STRICT?

CITY PROHIBITS EMPLOYEES FROM TAKING THEIR OWN VEHICLES HOME

"They can drive to work but they'll have to leave their car here and walk or take public transit home.  "We understand it's an inconvenience, but it looks good to the public.  And they'll probably save on gas."  City of Vancouver Fleet Manager Arlo Huskitts IV

"I live in Camas.  It took me seven hours to walk home in the rain last night." City of Vancouver Senior Directives Director Hibiscus Munch
